At the time the design is presented to you a price is quoted so that you know exactly what costs are involved for that design. Agreed upon changes in the design and/or specifications can result in either raising or lowering the cost with the result being that you determine what you want to spend. You'll never be surprised at delivery with any additional cost that hasn't been discussed and agreed upon.
